The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Adventist Fellowship continues to nurture a vibrant and warm fellowship that gathers every Tuesday morning from 7:00AM to 8:00AM. The fellowship is a spiritual haven for staff members seeking to start their day with worship, prayer, and reflection.

Special thanks go to Pastor Martin Ssempiira, whose unwavering commitment and spiritual leadership have sustained Adventist fellowships across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). His support has been instrumental in anchoring these gatherings as vital spaces for spiritual growth within the workplace.

In a blended mode of worship, the first Tuesday of every month is held physically, while the remaining Tuesdays are conducted online, enabling staff from all URA offices nationwide to participate. The fellowship is deeply touching — the uplifting music, the timely messages, and the early commitment of staff all reflect a hunger for spiritual nourishment before the day’s duties begin.

This month, the URA Fellowship is honored to host Professor Samson Rwahwire, the KMZ Communication Director, as the speaker throughout August. He will be delivering a powerful and timely series on the theme “FOCUS”, helping attendees realign their priorities and deepen their commitment to God amidst the busyness of life and service.

We thank the URA leadership, especially Commissioner Abel Kagumire, and the dedicated Adventist staff who faithfully sustain and run the fellowship every month. Their commitment keeps the light of worship shining within the institution. The URA Adventist Fellowship model is a blueprint worth emulating in other MDAs. It shows that with intentionality and commitment, Adventists can indeed father the nation by anchoring public service in faith and values.
