Uganda Union Launches Mission Possible 2027 Youth Camporee
The Uganda Union officially launched the Mission Possible 2027 Youth Camporee on Sunday, 14th June 2026, at the Adventist Centre, marking the beginning of preparations for one of the most anticipated youth gatherings in the Union's history.
The launch brought together church leaders, youth ministry representatives, and other stakeholders committed to nurturing and empowering young people for service and mission. The event unveiled the vision and leadership team that will guide the planning and implementation of the camporee.
During the launch ceremony, Esther Waiswa, Uganda Union Youth Director, officially confirmed Jimmy Muhindo as the Camporee Director for Mission Possible 2027. He will lead the coordination and preparation of the event as the Union moves toward this historic celebration.
The occasion was graced by Pr. Samuel Mwebaze, Assistant to the Union President, who emphasized the importance of investing in young people and preparing them to become faithful disciples and leaders in God's mission.
Held under the theme "Mission Possible – A Century of Faith," the camporee will celebrate God's faithfulness throughout the years while challenging a new generation to embrace the mission of the Church with renewed commitment and purpose.
As preparations commence, church members are encouraged to support the initiative through prayer and active participation. The leadership team remains committed to delivering a transformative experience that will strengthen faith, build friendships, and inspire young people to become effective ambassadors for Christ.
The launch marks the first step in a journey that promises to unite thousands of Adventist youth in worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission as they prepare for Mission Possible 2027.
