East Kampala Communications – This past Sabbath, East Kampala Seventh-day Adventist Church was honored to host Pastor Kajjoba Samuel, the Central Uganda Conference leader, in a spiritually uplifting visit that brought renewed energy and inspiration to the congregation as he launched the first indoor baptistery in the Kampala Metropolitan Zone of the Central Uganda Conference.

The day began with a colorful and dignified guard of honor, presented by the church’s youth ministries, including the Pathfinders, Adventurers, and other clubs. Their coordinated welcome set a joyful and reverent tone for the day’s events. During the Divine Hour, Pr. Kajjoba delivered a moving sermon titled “Church Growth”, emphasizing that true church growth is reflected not merely in increased numbers or infrastructure, but in the transformed lives and active service of its members. His message was a heartfelt call to deeper spiritual commitment and discipleship.

A major highlight of the day was the official dedication of the church’s new baptismal pool, an achievement long anticipated by the church family. The event was described as a living testimony to God’s faithfulness and the unity of the members who worked tirelessly to see the project completed.

Following the dedication, a special appeal was made, and nine individuals decided to surrender their lives to Christ. That same evening, in a moving baptismal ceremony, all nine were baptized, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey.

Church leaders and members expressed deep gratitude for the visit and message from Pr. Kajjoba, and praised God for both the spiritual revival and physical progress being witnessed at East Kampala Adventist Church. The church continues to pray for the full completion of its sanctuary and recommits to bearing fruit as a united, growing body of believers.
